This house was built below the old fortress (Kale) of Alanya at the turn to the 20th century.It was called “GOVERNOR’S HOUSE” because of its magnificence and beauty.It is a building with an enclosed courtroom. The first two floors of the three storey building is constructed with wooden beams and Stones )similar to the tutor-era buildings in england). The third flor consists of wooden –pillars and support beams with mortar. Yn the basement were animal pens and areas for food storage .The second and third flor are connected with wooden stairs. These floors were the family living quarters and guest rooms.Yn 2007 a third generation descendant of the family,Do?an A?AO?LU ,had the house renovated and hepped to hand it down to the next generations,paying his debt to his forefathers as he put it.The renovation plan of the building, included a restaurant,and its aplication was designed by architect Nejat Üre?en with the approval of Antalya Protection Council.
